Lets immersed in the sea of purity...Sufism is the best way to forget your worries and to go on in search of The Eternal Truth... I want you to feel the beauty of Sufism .....This is beautiful... Lets have a look

Tere Ishq nachaiyaan kar key thaiyaa thaiyaa
Your love has made me dance like mad

Tere Ishq ne dera mere andar keeta
Bhar ke zeher payala main taan aape peeta,
Jhabde wahudi tabiba nahin te main mar gaiyaan
Tere Ishq nachaiyaan kar key thaiyaa thaiyaa
Falling in love with you
Was like taking a sip of poison
Come my healer, forsaken, I am sad.
Your love has made me dance like mad

Chupp giyah ve suraj bahar reh gayi laali
Ve main sadqey hova, D
evein murrjey wikhali
Peera main bhul gaiyaan tere naal na gaiyaan
Tere Ishq nachaiyaan kar key thaiyaa thaiyaa
The sun has set, its flush only is left
I’ll give my life for a glimpse of you
My fault I came not when when you bade
Your love has made me dance like mad.

Ais Ishq de kolon mainu hatak na maaye
Laahu jaandre berrey kehrramorlaya
Meri aqal jun bhulli naal mhaniyaan dey gaiyaan
Tere Ishq nachaiyaan kar key thaiyaa thaiyaa
Dissuade me not from the path of love
Who can hold the boats on the move?
Stupid, I joined the boatman’s squad
Your love has made me dance like mad

Ais Ishq Di Jhangi Wich Mor Bulenda
Sanu Qibla Ton Qaaba Sohna Yaar Disenda
Saanu Ghayal Karke Pher K
habar Na Laaiyaan
Tere Ishq nachaiyaan kar key thaiyaa thaiyaa
A peacock calls in the grove of passion
It’s Qibla, It’s Kaaba where lives my love
You asked not once after you stabbed
Your love has made me dance like mad

Bullah Shah na ao
unda mainu Inayat de buhe
Jisne mainu awaye chole saave te suhe
Jaan main maari aye addi mil paya hai vahaiya
Tere Ishq nachaiyaan kar key thaiyaa thaiyaa
Bulleh Shah Sits at Inayat’s door
Who has dressed me in green and red
And caught me the instant I flew from the pad
Your love has made me dance like mad

Why should I be weary
when every cell of my body is bursting with life?
Why should I be a donkey's slave
when I ride upon a magical horse?
Why should I be less than the Moon
when there are no scorpions at my feet?
Why should I stay at the bottom of a well
when a strong rope is in my hand?

AMEER KHUSRO COUPLET

U original
Khusrau darya prem ka, ulti wa ki dhaar,

Jo utra so doob gaya, jo dooba so paar.

English Translation.

Oh Khusrau, the river of love
Runs in strange directions.
One who jumps into it drowns,
And one who drowns, gets across.

"Love letter from a mathematician"

"My Dear Love"

Yesterday, I was passing by your rectangular house in trigonometric lane. There i saw you with your cute circular face, conical nose, parabolic chin and spherical eyes, standing in your triangular garden. Before seeing you my heart was a null set but when a vector of magnitude love fall on it, it has no free space on its 3D plane, please add ne in your heart and subtract all the angriness and divide your happy moments to multiply my Life hours because you + me = happiness forever. I miss you 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Only Yous.......... ANTIDERIVATIVE.

Kanras

The eyes downcast,
the tone enervated,
sentences uttered in fragments,
lashes covered in dust
and sunburnt face.
Bowing his unkempt head has come a long lost friend.
The heart is tempted to take hold of his hand,
to rush immediately to kiss his brow,
and never allow him to go back alone.
But deep within me someone whispers:
all this is feigned, phantasm, facade,
Don’t ever believe!
Don’t ever believe!

Lets read Parveen Shakir (late)

I don’t care a damn for the dark.

On each and every gloomy path
of all the forthcoming nights,
there shines a moon
—your cute, lovely face.

We shall see

We shall see
Certainly we, too, shall see
that day that has been promised to us

When these high mountains
Of tyranny and oppression
turn to fluff and evaporate

And we oppressed
Beneath our feet will have
this earth shiver, shake and beat
And heads of rulers will be struck
With crackling lightening
and thunder roars.

When from this God's earth's (Kaa'ba)
All falseness (icons) will be removed
Then we of clean hearts-condemned by Zealots those keepers of
Faith,
We, will be invited to that altar to sit and Govern-
When crowns will be thrown off- and over turned will be thrones

We shall see
Certainly we, too, shall see
that day that has been promised to us

The God's name will remain (Allah will remain)
Who is invisible and visible too
Who is the seer and is seen
There will rise one cheer- I am God!
Who I am too
and so are you

Then the masses, people of God will rule
Who I am too
and so are you

There will rise one cheer- I am God!
Who I am too
and so are you

Dil Hi To Hai Na Sang-o-Khist
original Urdu (Mirza Asad Ullah Khan Ghalib)

Dil Hi To Hai Na Sang-o-Khist
Dard Se Bhar Na Aaye Kyon?
Royenge Hum Hazaar Baar
Koyee Hamein Sataye Kyon?
Dair Nahin, Haram Nahin,
Dar Nahin, Aastan Nahin
Baithe Hain Reh-Guzar Pe Hum
Gair Hamein Uthaye Kyon?
Jab Veh Jamaal-e-Dilfaroze
Surte-Mehre Neem-Roze
Aap Hi Ho Nazaar-Soze
Parde Mein Munh Chuppaye Kyon?
Dashne-e-Gamaz Jaan-Sitan
Naavke-Naaz Bepanah
Tera Hi Akse-Rukh Sahi,
Saame Tere Aaye Kyon?
Kaide-Hayat-O-Band-e-Gam,
Asl Mein Dono Ek Hain
Maut Se Pehlre Aadmi
Gum Se Nijaat Paye Kyon?
Husn Aur Us Pe Husn-e-Zun
Reh Gayee Bulhavas Ki Sharm
Apne Pe Etmad Hai,
Gair Ko Aazmaye Kyon?
Van Veh Garure-Izz-o-Naaz
Yan Yeh Hijabe-Paase-Vazan
Raah Mein Hum Milen Kahan
Bazm Mein Veh Bulaye Kyon?
Han Voh Nahin Khuda Parasat
Jaao Veh Bewafa Sahi
Jisko Ho Dino-Dil Aziz
Uski Gali Mein Jaye Kyon?
Ghalib-e-Khast Ke Bagair
Kaunse Kaam Band Hain?
Roeeye Zar-Zar Kaya?
Keejiye Haye-Haye Kyon?

English Translation

Heart it is, not a brick or stone
Why shouldn't it feel the pain?
Let none tyrannize this heart
Or I shall cry again and again
Neither the temple, nor the mosque
Nor on someone's door or porch
I await on the path where He will tread
Why others should compel me to go?
The illumined grace that lights up the heart
And glows like the midday sun
That Self that annihilates all sights
When then it hides in the mysterious net?
The amorous glance is the deadly dagger
And the arrows of emotions are fatal
Your image may be equally powerful
Why should it appear before you?
The rules of life and bonds of sorrow
In reality are the one manifestation
Before realizing the ultimate truth
How can then one attain liberation?
Love is laden with noble thoughts
Yet what remains is the carnal shame
Trust conscience the still little voice
Why do you want test the rival?
There the pride of modesty resides
Here dwells the social morality
How shall we meet, on which road
Why should he invite me to the abode?
True he is an atheist
Unfaithful and unchaste
Dear to who is faith and heart
Why should he then venture there?
Without the wretched "Ghalib"
Has any activity come to a halt?
What then is the need to cry?
What then is the need to brood?

Dreams do not die. AHMED FARAZ

Dreams do not die.
Ahmed Faraz January 14, 1931 - August 25, 2008

Dreams are not heart, nor eyes or breath
Which shattered, will scatter (or)
Die with the death of the body.

Dreams do not die.
Dreams are light, voice, wind,
Which cannot be stopped by mountains black,
Which do not burn in the hells of cruelty,
Ensigns of light and voice and wind,
Bow not, even in abattoirs.

Dreams are letters,
Dreams are illumination,
Dreams - Socrates,
Dreams - Mansur!'

Khwaab maratay nahiin
Khwaab dil hain, na aankhe'n, na sanse'n

Khwaab maratay nahiin

Khwaab to raushanii hain, navaa hain, havaa hain

Death Annivarsary of the Poet of Love!

I have heard that people look at her in amazement...
English Translation

I have heard that people look at her in amazement
So I too will spend a few days in her city and see!

I have heard she has an affinity for the broken-spirited
So I too will destroy myself and see!

I have heard her delicate eye is a customer of pain
So
I too shall wander through her street and see!

I have heard she too has a passion for poetry
So I will put the miracles of my skill to the test and see!

I have heard when she speaks flowers fall from her mouth
If this is the case, I will speak to her and see!

I have heard the moon gazes at her through the night
And the stars descend from the sky and see!

I have heard her doe-like eyes are deadly
I have heard that all the world’s deer gaze at her, see!

I have heard during the day butterflies tease her!
I have heard at night fireflies stop and stare, see!

I have heard her curly locks are darker than the night
I have heard that in the evening shadows walk past her and see!

I have heard her kohl-rimmed eyes are ravishing!
So the antimony-sellers look at her with envy, see!

I have heard that roses are jealous of her lips
So I will put the blame on the Spring and see!

I have heard her brow is like a mirror
The simple-hearted dress up and into it look and see!

I have heard ever since she has worn her necklace
The temperament of rubies and pearls have become ill, see!

I have heard in the Realm of Possibilities with Concept’s eye
The rope-bed looks at the angles made by her back, see!

I have heard her body is so beautifully sculpted
That flowers cut up their cloaks and see!

She is tall like a cypress but not without hope’s roses!
For on that tree buds of fruit we do see!

With her single gaze she loots the caravan o’ my heart!
So the travellers of desire look with trepidation upon her, see!

I have heard that Paradise lies near her bedroom!
The tenants there from here the flashes too do see!

If she halts the Heavens circumambulate her
If she walks the Epochs stop and look at her, see!

Granted these are just tales, mere hyperbole
If she is a dream we shall find its intepretation and see!

Shall I continue to stay in her city or shall I depart?
Faraz, come, let’s look at what the stars say ’bout this journey and see!

A Prison Evening
by Faiz Ahmed Faiz

Each star a rung,
night comes down the spiral
staircase of the evening.
The breeze passes by so very close
as if someone just happened to speak of love.
In the courtyard,
the trees are absorbed refugees
embroidering maps of return on the sky.
On the roof,
the moon - lovingly, generously -
is turning the stars
into a dust of sheen.
From every corner, dark-green shadows,
in ripples, come towards me.
At any moment they may break over me,
like the waves of pain each time I remember
this separation from my lover.

This thought keeps consoling me:
though tyrants may command that lamps be smashed
in rooms where lovers are destined to meet,
they cannot snuff out the moon, so today,
nor tomorrow, no tyranny will succeed,
no poison of torture make me bitter,
if just one evening in prison
can be so strangely sweet,
if just one moment anywhere on this earth.

LONELINESS!!!!

Loneliness like a good, old friend
visits my house to pour wine in the evening.
And we sit together, waiting for the moon,
and for your face to sparkle in every shadow.

tum jo naa aa'e the to....(urdu)

Before You Came....(english)

English Translation

Before you came things were just what they were:
the road precisely a road, the horizon fixed,
the limit of what could be seen,
a glass of wine was no more than a glass of wine.

With you the world took on the spectrum
radiating from my heart: your eyes gold
as they open to me, slate the color
that falls each time I lost all hope.

With your advent roses burst into flame:
you were the artist of dried-up leaves, sorceress
who flicked her wrist to change dust into soot.
You lacquered the night black.

As for the sky, the road, the cup of wine:
one was my tear-drenched shirt,
the other an aching nerve,
the third a mirror that never reflected the same thing.

Now you are here again—stay with me.
This time things will fall into place;
the road can be the road,
the sky nothing but sky;
the glass of wine, as it should be, the glass of wine.

Dont Come back Ahmed Faraz

English Translation of Us ne kahaa sun by AHMED FARAZ

She said: listen

She said: listen
Don't come back if
you think it
to fulfill your promise.
People with obligations are
either compelled or
are tired of separations.
Go and fulfill others' desires
and fall in love with other women.
I will not call you.
But when you burn inside
with the blaze of wanting me,
needing me,
and your heart weeps,
you can then
come back to me.

The secret under this rotating dome is.... Translation of تم بتا دو راز جو اس گنبد گرداں ميں ہے

Translation

The bright sun is hidden, the night shows its face
The night's hair is spread on shoulders of the earth

This black dress is preparation for some one's mourning
Perhaps the Nature's assemblage for the sun is mourning

The sky is casting a spell over the talking lip
The night's magician is watching the awakened eye

The wind current is submerged in the river of silence
However, the tolling bell's sound comes from the distance

Heart which in love's turmoil is evading the world
Has dragged me here far from the maddening crowd

I am the spectator of the spectacle of disappointments
I am the associate of those sleeping in solitude's corner

O My restlessness! Wait and let me rest awhile
And let me shed a few tears at this habitation

O those steeped in a swoon, "Where are you?
Tell me something of the land where you live

Is that world also one of prevarication?
Is that world also one of denizens' struggle?

Is Man engulfed by sorrow in that land also?
Is Man's heart suppressed and helpless in that land also?

Does the moth burn itself in candle's love in that land also?
Does the tale of flower and nightingale exist in that garden also?

In this world a single hemistich perturbs the heart
Does there also the warmth of verse soften the heart?

This world's relations and alliances life's woes are
Are similar sharp thorns present in that garden also?

The daily bread and a million calamities this world has
Does the soul freedom from anxieties in that world has?

Are the thunder, the farmer, the harvest there also?
Are the caravan and the robber's fear there also?

Do birds collect bits of straw for nests there also?
Is the search for bricks and clay for house there also?

Are the humans unaware of their reality there also?
Are they after nations' and customs' discrimination there also

Does garden not cry at the nightingale's wail there also?
Like this world is there no sympathy in that world also?

Does the Paradise a garden or a restful mansion constitute?
Or does the Eternal Beauty's Unveiled Face it constitute ?

Does hell a method of burning away sins constitute?
Or it in flames of fire a way of discipline constitute?

Has walking given way to speedy flying in that world?
What is the secret of what is called death by denizens of this world?

Life eases the heart's restlessness in this world
Is human knowledge also restricted in that world?

Does the separated heart get satisfaction by sight there also?
Are "Lan Tarn" saying the rs of that land also

Does the soul get solace in longing there also?
Is man a victim of desire to learn there also ?

Ah! Is that land also filled with darkness?
Or with Love's light is completely illuminated?

Tell us what the secret under this rotating dome is
Death is a pricking sharp thorn in the human breast !

Covering of nightly stars, its dew’s wetly possession.

You are the creation with the union of all this

Oh my beloved don’t ask me about my first love

English Translation Of MUJH SE PAHLI SI MUHABBAT ........
By Abdus Samad Shaikh

Oh my beloved don’t ask me about my first love
I believe while you existed, so did this shinning life

I feel your pain; the grief of the world has no value
From your face the spring season attains its splendor

Apart from your eyes what else in world has any worth
If I found you then the fortune would bow down to me

It was not that, but I desire it to be like that

There are other pains in this world apart from love
As there are other comforts than comforts of delights

Countless centuries of dark, dreadful, mystical
Woven in Silk, satin, brocade

Everywhere in the street and market bodies are being sold
Draggled in dust, in blood stained

Retrieved bodies, seems to be from oven of diseases
Flowing puss from decaying ulcers

I can’t help taking second look but I’m helpless
Your beauty still captures me but I’m helpless

There are other pains in this world apart from love
As there are other comforts then comforts of delights

Oh my beloved don’t ask me about my first love

Dreams

by Edgar Allan Poe
Oh! that my young life were a lasting dream!
My spirit not awakening, till the beam
Of an Eternity should bring the morrow.
Yes! tho' that long dream were of hopeless sorrow,
'Twere better than the cold reality
Of waking life, to him whose heart must be,
And hath been still, upon the lovely earth,
A chaos of deep passion, from his birth.
But should it be- that dream eternally
Continuing- as dreams have been to me
In my young boyhood- should it thus be given,
'Twere folly still to hope for higher Heaven.
For I have revell'd, when the sun was bright
I' the summer sky, in dreams of living light
And loveliness,- have left my very heart
In climes of my imagining, apart
From mine own home, with beings that have been
Of mine own thought- what more could I have seen?
'Twas once- and only once- and the wild hour
From my remembrance shall not pass- some power
Or spell had bound me- 'twas the chilly wind
Came o'er me in the night, and left behind
Its image on my spirit- or the moon
Shone on my slumbers in her lofty noon
Too coldly- or the stars- howe'er it was
That dream was as that night-wind- let it pass.

I have been happy, tho' in a dream.
I have been happy- and I love the theme:
Dreams! in their vivid coloring of life,
As in that fleeting, shadowy, misty strife
Of semblance with reality, which brings
To the delirious eye, more lovely things
Of Paradise and Love- and all our own!
Than young Hope in his sunniest hour hath known.
